Update from the Mila mothership: Our team has been working hard to make ongoing improvements and all units should should now be back online in your Mila app. You can now adjust your Automagic settings, and resume control of your Mila settings straight from the app. We’ll continue to monitor this over the next couple of days, and thank you for your patience as we work through this.

Our team has been tracking this issue, and isolated it to some recent updates we’ve made on the backend as part of our ongoing efforts to improve overall infrastructure. We’re currently in the process of getting everything back on track, and you may see your units in the app go online and offline during this time. In the meantime, your sensors are continuing to track your home's air quality and overall health, and you'll find that in your app once your units reconnect. Thanks for your patience.

There is currently a backend outage causing Milas to appear offline in your app and preventing new Milas from pairing. Our team is investigating this and will share an update as soon as we have one. In the meantime, your Milas are still working hard to keep your air clear, and can be adjusted using the on-unit controls.

Some users may experience temporary disconnects with their Milas.

We've made optimizations to our backend services to stabilize connectivity for the users who may be experiencing connection drops. We are closely monitoring this and thank you for your patience.

Quick update from the Mila mothership: while we’ve addressed the majority of connection issues, we’re still continuing to see some instances where Milas may briefly disconnect, causing them to briefly appear offline in your app and failing to display your outdoor AQI on your Mila itself. You may notice this most when you first pair a Mila; please allow some time for your Mila to show up online (it’ll automatically reconnect!).

While our engineering team is still working to fully address this issue, we’ve been able to trace it back to some of the upgrades we made over the weekend as part of our scheduled backend updates. We apologize for any inconvenience and please know that your Mila sensors are continuing to work hard to your indoor home health stats in the background.

We're currently investigating intermittent backend issues that might cause some units to temporarily disconnect, making them appear offline. Your Milas should come back online automatically. In very rare cases, some users may experience a short lapse in sensor readings. Apologies for any inconvenience, and we'll be back with an update as soon as we have more information.

The connectivity issue is now resolved and all Mila services should be back online. If your Mila continues to appear to offline, you may consider doing a quick reboot or re-launching your Mila app. Thank you!

  • Update
    Update

We're currently still investigating this outage around device connectivity, which is tied to some upgrades we're making on the Mila backend. While all your Milas are still working and retaining all your sensor info, you may experience the following:

    • Error in setting up a new Mila.
    • Delays in reporting your indoor AQI readings.
    • Delays/inability to set/save your modes using your app. However, you can still control your Mila using the on-unit display, including switching between Automagic and Manual modes.

We expect all services to come back online later today, and will be back with another update as soon as we have one. Thank you!

This may results in AQI readings/history not loading properly, or a delay in changing modes on your mobile app. We are currently investigating this incident, and will share an update as soon as possible.
